Satellite Fleet
EchoStar owns or leases nine U.S. domestic satellites that provide customers with thousands of all-digital television channels, including interactive TV services, sports programming, high-definition television, international programming, and business television networks. Today, EchoStar offers BSS and FSS Ku-Band space segment and FSS Ka-Band space segment to fit our customers' requirements. Click here to review our satellite fleet.
Coverage Areas
The EchoStar fleet consists of three hybrid Ku/Ka-band satellites with CONUS coverage and six DBS satellites utilized for direct to home service. Review the coverage maps for our three FSS Ku-band satellites to find one that best meets your requirements.
Teleports & Facilities
- Fiber Optic Network
EchoStar’s digital fiber optic network has point of presence in over 160 cities across the United States and several countries worldwide. Our highly reliable global network is used to backhaul, aggregate, and distribute video and audio content for our domestic and international customers.
- Gateway Facilities
EchoStar maintains and operates 10 full service digital broadcast centers, with the largest facilities in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Gilbert, Arizona.
