EchoStar 9

EchoStar 9 launched from a floating platform at the equator aboard a Sea Launch rocket on August 7, 2003. The EchoStar 9 satellite is equipped with the first commercial Ka-band spot-beam payload for use over the United States. The satellite also carries a Ku-band payload to provide video delivery and operates at the 121° West Longitude orbital location.

AMC 15

Built by Lockheed Martin, AMC-15 is based on the A2100 model. AMC-15 features 24 transponders of Ku-band capacity and operates from 105° West.  AMC-15 launched on a Proton M/Breeze M launch vehicle from Baikonur Cosmodrome in October of 2004.

AMC 16

AMC-16, built by Lockheed Martin and based on the A2100 spacecraft platform, is a hybrid Ku/Ka-band satellite. Launched on an Atlas V launch vehicle from Cape Canaveral in December of 2004, the spacecraft operates from the 85° West orbital location.
